Detailed Itinerary Day 01: Arrival in Varanasi
Our tour Executive will meet upon arrival at the airport or Varanasi railway station. He will help you in the check-in process to the hotel and will give a brief summary of your Varanasi tour and deliver the travel documents upon arrival at the hotel.
At evening, attend the great Aarti (Hindu ritual) performed by several priests, reciting mantras along with the sound of bells, drums and cymbals. Overnight stay at the hotel. (Hotel Your Own Expense).
Navigate through the Ganges during the sunrise, while observing the Hindu lifestyle and rituals. Visit Assi Ghat, Dasaswamedh Ghat, Manikarnika Ghat, Take a walk through the narrow alleys of Old Varanasi. Visit the area around the Kashi Vishwanath Temple [Only Hindus can enter] also known as the Golden Temple.
Later head to Sarnath after breakfast and pay a visit to the Buddhist monuments and buildings that cover Mulagandha Kuti Vihar, Dhamek Stupa, the Sarnath Museum, and the Chaukhandi Stupa. Stay at the hotel (Hotel at your own expense).
Go to the city after breakfast. Visit the Hindu University of Benaras [BHU], Bharat Kala Bhawan, the new temple of Kashi Vishwanath, Durga Temple, the temple of Bharat Mata and the temple of Tulasi Manas & monkey Temple.
Then, move to the airport to take a flight and return home.
